Hapa loitered just outside The Shoal, idly watching squids and octopi mingle among themselves. Senta said he would be here shortly and was just running a shy bit late. He still couldn't believe he scored a date with the model he's idolized for years. He idly scrolled through his phone as a distraction from his thoughts, though it didn't really do much in terms of quelling his anxieties.
Just as he shut off his phone in defeat, he heard his name being called from the train station. Rushing up the steps of the subway was none other than Senta. Decked out in a leather crop top and ripped black skinny jeans, Hapa felt almost underdressed between the two of them. All he wore was a tshirt tucked into washed out denim jeans and tall black boots.
Senta sprinted across the square, foot just barely catching a crack to send him stumbling. “OH SHIT-” Hapa rushed forward, just barely catching Senta’s hand in time. Oh his hands are so soft. “Are you alright?” Hapa helped Senta settle to his feet, making sure he's stable before reluctantly letting go of his hand.
“Yes, I’m quite alright. It’s probably not the best to run in heels, I suppose.” Senta spoke between breaths and giggles. “That's a bit embarrassing!”
